Empty nest syndrome (sad that it is referred to as a syndrome however that shows that you are not alone), refers to feelings of loss for example they can be seen as:

  • grief
  • depression
  • loneliness
  • sadness
  • loss
  • irritable
  • or plain miserable

These feelings are totally normal to feel as a parent when your child or children move out of home.
