She asked me how I was going lately, with all the changes that were happening in my life.

“I’m okay, I just don’t know how many more of these changes I can take.” I said.

She mentioned to me that a family friend of hers was in the Navy and they had an interesting perspective on just this.

“He was hit with so many changes throughout his life. Only once he was out the other side, he realised he was better off because of it.” Janice said.

“I get that, but how can I be sure I will even reach the other side?” I responded. “How can I know I will eventually reach my goals?”

Janine responded “Well, what do you do to make those goals happen? Do you actively move forward with them, or do you just expect them to happen?”

She then continued, “Just like basic training, there’s two possibilities. You are either ready for your mission, or you are required to fall back and re-attend your training.”

Challenges are something in this world, that only occur when we decide to move forward, and when we move forward towards our goals, this is acknowledged by the universe establishing a path of travel for you.

Making The Changes Happen

Make things happen

Changes don’t just happen. You have to put in the work and the hard yards to make them happen.

In those changes, are opportunities to become stronger and to grow as an individual. No one becomes a successful entrepreneur overnight just because they want it. They had to put in the dedication and work to make it happen.

When we accept these changes, we learn to adapt, and when we learn to adapt; that’s when we become a better person.
